In addition to inspecting your roof for hail or wind damage, we’ll provide the following at no cost to you:
Video inspection report of what we find on your roof
With a video inspection, you won’t have to go on the roof yourself. You also won’t just have to take our word for it if there’s damage. If there’s a problem on your roof, you’ll get to see exactly what we see and know whether or not you should file an insurance claim.
We inspect all visible areas of the roof, including the roof covering, chimney, flashing, skylights, roof vents, roof sheathing, fascia board, and more.
Scale drawing of your roof
You’ll know how many square feet your roof is so if you ever need that information for future insurance purposes, you’ll already have it.
List of the roof pitch on each slope
This will come in handy for you if you file a claim for storm damage. Steep-pitched roofs cost more to repair or replace, so you want to make sure that your insurance claim has this information recorded. Having the information in your files enables you to verify any claim estimates.
Elevation of your home
If your house is over 7,000 feet, Pikes Peak Regional Building requires a product called Ice & Water Shield to be put on the roof. If you need that, you’ll want to make sure that your insurance estimate takes that into consideration. It’s just one more way we empower you to work with your insurance company.
